Fresh from Austin, Texas—''Live Music Capital of the World''—Allye Ratledge emerges onto the local scene of the Tri-Cities with her rich, soulful vocals. Originally from Tullahoma, Tennessee, she studied piano from a very early age and went on to submerge herself in classical music during college, where she studied Opera and Art Song through all periods of history. After a brief, yet very rewarding, year in Montana teaching music and voice, she decided to move to Austin to pursue performance. Formerly the lead singer of the local “Austinite” band, The Pacers, Allye honed her skills with engaging performances and vocal artistry in genres from Motown to Rock and Roll. With inspirations such as Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, Aretha Franklin, and Billie Holiday, Allye brings together so many of the characteristics that have made so many artists unforgettable.
